Prior to her career in acupuncture, Soo attended Baruch College, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, after which she spent 18 years in Corporate America. Soo’s corporate experience entrenched her in a non-stop lifestyle that created stress, imbalance and disease in herself and many around her. Through meditation and reflection, Soo left her career in finance and pursued traditional medicine, a practice embedded in the traditions of her homeland of Korea.
Soo graduated as a Doctor of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science and now practices in New Jersey. She was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element Acupuncture, and Kiiko Matsumoto’s Japanese style acupuncture while attending the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, where she graduated as a Licensed Acupuncturist. Soo is further certified in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System™️, which specializes in rejuvenating the face and neck. Through Dr. Kim’s incredible expertise and compassion from first hand experience, she has since helped countless men and women to heal from chronic illnesses, pain, and stress. Her practice encourages balance and imbues her patients with healing of their bodies and minds.
Dr. Kim’s dedication to the healing arts and excellence has driven her to expand her. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Health and Science.
